Davis loving cruising in his convertible

 We live in a beautiful area, bike trails and running trails are right in our backyard.  So we decided to do a nature scavenger hunt.  Mason totally due it, and Davis had a great time in the carrier.

Funderland

   

Funderland is an awesome little amusement that is toddlers only!  So fun when that is all you have.  All the rides there are for kids between 32" and 48".  Mason loves it, and even Davis is allowed to do a few of the rides with an adult.







                                                       

Mason's favorite ride is the octopus ride.

Sidenote:  My kids are OBSESSED with Gumby and Poky.  They have Gumby and Poky in regular size, gigantic size, and mini.  Not only that, but yes Netflix has the old Gumby cartoons and the Gumby movie and they want to watch it over and over and over.

A trip to Walmart + a toddler tantrum = A hideous spongebob hat that doesn't come off of his head for days!!!

Mason is starting to enjoy his bike more and more.  I think it is because he can finally reach the ground :)

May in Northern California = STRAWBERRY SEASON!!!

We also spent a lot of time at the Folsom Zoo.

We also took a trip with the Sierra Moms Club to a place called Safetyville.  Safetyville is a city that is scaled down to toddler size (building are 1/3 the size of regular buildings, smaller sidewalks, act.)  The kids learn important things like how to cross the street at a crosswalk, what to do at a train crossing -- that sort of thing.  As you can see in the picture, Mason was great at listening (there is sarcasm in that sentence, but you can't hear me, so just know it is there.) Yep he is climbing a Stop Sign while the rest of the kids listen.  My favorite part was when they were at an abandoned building:

Leader:  Ok kids, if you come across a really old building that says keep out, why should you keep out?

Kid #1:  It's dangerous!!

Leader:  Right!  What could be in there that makes it dangerous?

Kid #2:  Rusty Nails!

Kid #3:  Homeless Guys!!

Mason:  Rattlesnakes!!!

There are not many kids in our ward.  In fact, Mason is one of three kids in the nursery.  But Davis has a friend that happens to only be 4 days older than him.  They have gotten close in the Mother's Room.

We went to a park to check out the solar Eclipse and to play a little tennis.

Watched JP run a race and he went by our house.

And then we finished off the month in Utah again!  Yay!

Swinging on the glider at Great Grandma Munk's house.  I used to swing on this glider as a kid, so it was fun to see them enjoy it.

Spent some time at Utah State.  Making sure Davis knows what a real Aggie is.  Mason was born in Texas close to the Aggies of Texas A & M, and Davis by the Aggies of UC Davis, even named after UC Davis Medical Center  (have I mentioned that before?  We named him that because of the surgery they performed on my back at 20 weeks pregnant with him.)  But I kissed him on the A just so he knew what a True Aggie was :)

Had a fun time camping in Franklin Basin.  Minus a four hour stint of being stuck in a snowbank.

These boys of mine are so much alike it is scary.  They even sit the same way.

We were there for Memorial day, so we took Mason to my brother's gravestone and got a picture since his middle name is named after him.  (It looks like he doesn't have arms, but don't worry, he does)

And last, but not least, met Harper (and Erin and Snug) in Lava for a good swim.
