Update:
For those that have been wondering about my dad's surgery, it went well. I talked to my dad on the phone yesterday and (one day after surgery) he sounded so great! He is still on painkillers right now though, so I am sure that later will be harder. I got a flight to Salt Lake tomorrow, I can't wait to be with everyone tomorrow night and see my dad!!
