I'M GETTING LOCKED UP!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!

Hey everyone,

I am being LOCKED UP for Muscular Dystrophy!!! On November 19th, I will go behind bars, and not get out until I have raised my "bail". So the sooner I start raising money, the sooner I will make it out of the joint! My bail has been set at $1632. I know this seems like a random number, but it is actually the price it costs to send two children to MD Camp. ANY amount of money that anyone can donate will help get to my goal, and more importantly, help those kids with Muscular Dystrophy. It is super easy to donate, just go to my website:

And click the big red button. :)

Again, any little bit helps! Thanks guys!!!

My new due date...

So....I guess I should be happy. The doctor moved my due date from March 1st to February 26th. A few days sooner is a good thing, right? Well, the only reason it moved is because my baby is growing (g00d), but that little turd (ha ha ha, just kidding) is above weight right now while I have been so sick and lost 20 pounds!!!! All this time I have been worried about the "little" guy because I couldn't keep food down, and was having a hard time functioning! All to find out he is sucking the life right out of me and growing fine....I can see the next 18-20 years vividly in my mind.....

As a side note, although he is in the 80th percentiles for his head and abdomen size, the length of his legs is in the 40th percentile. Hmmm, short and stocky.....sounds about right. Must be our kid.

Link your Blog and Help a little girl!

I am writing this post with some tears in my eyes. My friend Kylene has a come up with such a great fundraiser to help out a family with a little girl that has cancer. I myself have not had my own children yet, but with the little one growing in my tummy right now I can't even imagine how it would feel to be told that your young child has cancer. I have many friends that are dealing with cancer, whether it be children, husbands, parents, mothers, fathers and on and on...and how they deal with it is such an inspiration to me. With this fundraiser that Kylene is proposing, an anonymous donor will donate $2 for every blog that puts a link to little Taylie's website and her fight against her cancer. How easy is that?!?!?

So here is the deal, I am going to put a link to little Taylie's website (here) so you can read all about her and the inspiration she is. Then I am going to put a link to my friend Kylene's website (here), so you can leave her a message to let her know that you linked them on your website so it can be counted in on the money for the fundraiser.

And not only will you be helping out with this fundraiser, but when all is said and done, your name will go into a drawing for a cute Prada purse. That is just icing on the cake, right?

And to all my friends that are dealing with cancer in some form or another, my prayers are with you. And as an update to how my own father is doing...He had another brain scan yesterday and all looks very well. We are so relieved and feel very blessed with this news.

Quick Post of DC

So, we went to Washington DC over Labor Day weekend. I had never been there, and wanted to go. Man was I tired by the end of the weekend!!! For someone who has been going to bed every night for the last 3 months at 8:00, to change to a 2:00 am bedtime and up by 7:00 am to walk around DC for hours and hours and hours and hours.....was, well, really hard. But I made it, and we had a blast. We flew into Baltimore where visited with Chris's friend Nate and his fiance Laura. Then we took the train into DC for two days. It was a lot of fun, to see all the cool things that DC has to offer. Not only that, but I got to see one of my best friends from college, Jonathan Abebe, and his new wife. We had dinner and got to catch up. it was great. Here are a few pictures. We didn't take enough, and I am not sure why we didn't get any with Nate and his fiance and Jonathan and his wife. Bummer.

I felt bad....

I know that this Picture isn't too interesting to anyone else other than maybe my own family.....But I just felt bad that I had a picture up of some baby I didn't even know. So, I fixed the scanner, and here is a side view baby boy Brown at 12 1/2 weeks. :) he looks like he is all nestled in a cradle.
