Quick Post of DC

So, we went to Washington DC over Labor Day weekend. I had never been there, and wanted to go. Man was I tired by the end of the weekend!!! For someone who has been going to bed every night for the last 3 months at 8:00, to change to a 2:00 am bedtime and up by 7:00 am to walk around DC for hours and hours and hours and hours.....was, well, really hard. But I made it, and we had a blast. We flew into Baltimore where visited with Chris's friend Nate and his fiance Laura. Then we took the train into DC for two days. It was a lot of fun, to see all the cool things that DC has to offer. Not only that, but I got to see one of my best friends from college, Jonathan Abebe, and his new wife. We had dinner and got to catch up. it was great. Here are a few pictures. We didn't take enough, and I am not sure why we didn't get any with Nate and his fiance and Jonathan and his wife. Bummer.

I felt bad....

I know that this Picture isn't too interesting to anyone else other than maybe my own family.....But I just felt bad that I had a picture up of some baby I didn't even know. So, I fixed the scanner, and here is a side view baby boy Brown at 12 1/2 weeks. :) he looks like he is all nestled in a cradle.

So this is what we're up against...

I know what you are thinking. It looks harmless right? Notice the blue ribbon. It is a boy. In approx. 6 months Chris and I will be entering into parenthood with a boy! We are both excited, but a little apprehensive. You see, if you know anything about us, you know that there are A LOT of girls in both of our families. Chris was pretty sure we were going to have a girl. I just felt it was time for a boy. I was right, and yes, I did make Chris admit that out loud.

So, yes, I am pregnant, yes we are having a boy, and no, that is not a picture of ours of course. Ours is still very small and we only get black and white pictures, but I can't get my scanner to work so you got a picture of this cute little one instead. I am due March 1st.

By the way for those of you who are calculating...I am only 13 1/2 weeks, but I had to do some special testing for being very high risk in my pregnancy so they went ahead and did a blood test to find out the gender. What can I say, Chris and I are both very impatient! :)
